Privacy Policy
Last updated July 14, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Glow Atlas collects, how we use it, who we share and sell it to, and the rights you have — including your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA.
01Who we are
Glow Atlas (“Glow Atlas,” “we,” “us”) operates the website at yourglowatlas.com, an editorial directory that ranks aesthetic, wellness, and body-service providers from publicly available reviews and information, and connects interested consumers with providers. This policy applies to that website and our related communications.
02Personal information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers & contact info | Name, email address, phone/mobile number, city/ZIP | You, via our matching form |
| Preference / interest info | Treatment area of interest, budget range, timing | You, via our matching form |
| Sensitive personal information | Your interest in a health-related treatment (e.g. skin, body, wellness) | You, via our matching form |
| Internet / device activity | IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring links, cookie & pixel data | Automatically, via analytics & ad technologies |
| Consent records | Timestamp, page, and exact language of any consent you give | Automatically, when you submit a form |
You are never required to complete our matching form. If you don’t, we only collect the limited activity data described above.
03How we use your information
- To match you with relevant providers and route your inquiry to them;
- To operate, personalize, secure, and improve the site;
- To send you communications you request, and — if you consent — marketing about relevant providers and offers;
- To measure our advertising and understand how the site is used;
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
04How we share and sell your information
We want to be direct about this because it is the core of how our service works:
- Provider (Featured Partner) businesses. When you ask to be matched, we share and sell the information you submit to one or more providers so they can contact you about their services. This is a “sale” and/or “sharing” of personal information under California law.
- Advertising & analytics partners. Our use of cookies and pixels may share online identifiers with these partners, which California law also treats as “sharing.”
- Service providers. Vendors who host the site, send email/SMS, and provide analytics on our behalf, under contract.
- Legal & safety. When required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and our service.
You can opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information at any time — see Section 6 and our Do Not Sell or Share page. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
05Cookies & tracking
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser, and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information. See our Cookie Notice for details.
06Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know / access the personal information we’ve collected about you;
- Delete the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information;
- Limit the use of your sensitive personal information;
- Not be discriminated or retaliated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise these rights, use our Do Not Sell or Share / Privacy Request form, or email privacy@yourglowatlas.com. You may use an authorized agent. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes the law requires, and you may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision.
07Data retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to comply with law, and to resolve disputes — after which we delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
08Health data & HIPAA
Glow Atlas is a directory and referral service, not a healthcare provider, health plan, or clearinghouse, and is not a HIPAA covered entity. We intentionally keep our questions non-clinical. Your interest in a treatment category may still be treated as “sensitive personal information” under California law, and we handle it accordingly.
09Children
The site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not sell or share the information of anyone we know to be under 16.
10Changes & contact
We review and update this policy at least annually and will post the new effective date above. Questions or requests: privacy@yourglowatlas.com, or by mail at Glow Atlas, Napa, CA. See also our Contact page.
